24V RV Battery — IMP-RV24-320

For motorhomes wired at 24V: 8.19kWh in one 60kg unit, 220A working current, and a 15-unit parallel ceiling for expedition builds.

Larger motorhomes and expedition vehicles wire their house systems at 24V for a reason: the same power at half the current. The IMP-RV24-320 is the battery built for those systems — 25.6V nominal, 320Ah, 8.19kWh — in the same 360 × 430 × 235mm case as the biggest 12V build, at 60kg, with IP54 protection.

The numbers that shape a 24V install: 29.2V charge voltage and 20.8V cut-off; 220A maximum charge and discharge with a 300A 10-second peak; 8,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge; discharge from −25°C to 65°C; and parallel support for up to 15 units — expedition-scale headroom that turns a single battery into a bank architecture. Communication is CAN or RS485 for system monitoring.

Against running the same energy as two 12.8V units in series, a native 24V battery keeps the bank as one managed unit: one BMS view of the whole store, no series-balancing questions, and a simpler conversation with the vehicle's 24V inverter-charger. For converters and upfitters building 24V house systems, this is the catalogue's one-SKU answer — with the 12V line covering the rest of the market from the same factory.

Why It Earns Its Place

Features

Native 24V, single managed unit

No series pairing of 12V blocks — one battery, one BMS, one state of charge for the whole 8.19kWh.

220A working current

At 25.6V that is over 5.6kW of continuous capability — inverter loads a 12V bank would feel, this one shrugs at.

15-unit parallel ceiling

Expedition and commercial conversions can scale the bank without changing platform.

IP54 for real installations

Underfloor lockers and service bays are dusty, damp places; the enclosure rating matches the environment.

For converters and upfitters

One model number simplifies a build sheet: the same unit across a production run of conversions, with published dimensions for the locker design and a parallel path for the flagship builds. Send the vehicle platform and the house-load schedule; the quote confirms unit count and the charging specification (29.2V profile) per vehicle.

Ordering & OEM

How ordering works

Minimum order quantities and lead times depend on the product type and the degree of customisation: standard products can start from smaller batches, while custom housings, labelling and packaging are assessed per project. Samples can be arranged, with sample and freight costs confirmed against the requirement. Every enquiry is answered with a written specification and quote stating the model, configuration and terms - nothing about an order here is left to chat messages.

Improve Battery runs OEM/ODM alongside its standard range, and ships with the export documentation each model carries (CE, RoHS, FCC, MSDS, UN38.3 types as listed per datasheet; certificates available upon request). State the model, voltage, quantity and destination in the enquiry form and the sales team in Shenzhen will reply with the full specification.

Questions

Frequently asked

Can it replace two 12V batteries in series?

Functionally yes for a 24V house system, with simpler management. The swap check is the charger profile (29.2V) and locker dimensions — both confirmed in the quote.

Why 15 in parallel?

The published ceiling serves expedition and multi-room conversions. Most motorhomes use one or two units; the headroom is there for the builds that need it.

Does it suit marine-adjacent use?

IP54 and the temperature range suit protected vehicle installations. It is specified and sold as an RV battery; state the exact environment in the enquiry for a written confirmation.
